Nothing says summer like sherbet floats. (Taken with instagram)
My boyfriend took me for a ride today on his moped since the weather was gorgeous. It’s so much fun, can’t wait to ride again, maybe tomorrow!
If you know me at all, you know I haven’t been well. I haven’t been sleeping enough, and when I do sleep, I have the strangest dreams. Dreams about endless hallways and overflowing sinks, dreams about people who never leave, dreams that stick with me for the rest of the day. The semester is ending and I’m buried under literature and analytical papers. My internship is ending and we’re busy deciding on our two final stories for submission. My tutoring job has been busy because everyone’s freaking out about finals. And being made Head Editor at Cliché has earned me tons of new, exciting and overwhelming responsibilities equipped with loads of e-mails. Friendships are ending, feelings are dying. I’m a mess now, but I know I’ll be okay soon. Summer vacation is coming.
Just me, Chris, hot cocoa, and lots of e-mails tonight.
My business cards from moo.com arrived today! They are the cutest things I’ve ever seen. ;) Ready to do Cliché Mag related business. (Taken with instagram)
Happy Record Store Day everyone! When I found out that Coldplay was releasing only 2,000 of these 7-inch vinyls with “Up With The Birds” and “U.F.O” on Sides A and B, I knew I had to have it. So I called my closest record store days in advance and reserved a copy, and I’m so glad I did! It was the only one they received, and the manager (who is friends with my family, I discovered!) said he received SO many calls asking about it! Thankfully he held it for me! He even gave me a discount since my boyfriend bought a limited edition Bruce Springsteen 45, too! I’m so happy I managed to snag a copy since they are so rare. I’m framing it immediately!
Did anyone else take part in Record Store Day and snag some rare vinyls?
Spent much of my evening cleaning my room and organizing all my books. I really miss taking photos with my Instax 210 and will definitely start experimenting again real soon.
Ran quite a few errands today with my mother and sister and came back with a pair of these cute sandals ($20, with a small wedge heel!), a new blowdryer and a big cup of ice cream. Ready for the warmer weather! (Taken with instagram)
Once upon a time in 10th grade, my best friend DeeDee used to draw the most adorable comics of us (she calls me Rooster, and is the only person allowed to haha).
In addition to my Chris Martin themed birthday cake, my best friend got me a Chris Martin iPhone case! It’s the same photo/Rolling Stone cover I have as a huge poster on my wall! I cried when she gave it to me, I was so surprised! (Taken with instagram)
My birthday cake is the MOST AWESOME BIRTHDAY CAKE EVER! I love my family, they know me so well! <3 Didn’t even want to cut it! So lucky to share a birthday with this beautiful man. (Taken with instagram)
You handsome devil you, it’s my birthday too! <3
