For our 5th year anniversary, my boyfriend took me to Sandy Hook Lighthouse and Fort Hancock in New Jersey. It was really beautiful over there, especially all the old vacant houses and how they all had birds nesting in their chimneys! Supposedly this lighthouse is the oldest ORIGINAL one in the country (lighthouses that were built prior have been since destroyed or rebuilt, but not this one!) so it was pretty historic and lovely. It was such a beautiful day, too.
