there’s a whole world between these shelves
I have grown rather fond of my English textbooks (although I believe I have spent far too much money on them all already) and these two in particular are my favorite. I love anthologies (especially anthologies that include work by Tim O’Brien) and my Literary Analysis textbook, which has some pretty interesting theories about criticism I haven’t realized until recently. I have a 5-6 page paper due soon on W.B. Keats’ poem The Second Coming and I’m 1,100 words in with nothing else to say! I need at least another 2 pages and I don’t know how I’m going to manage it.
I have also been carrying around my Moleskine journal everywhere and writing in it a bit. I admit I haven’t been writing as much as I’d like, since I’ve been so busy with my school work, but I just like to bring it along with me in case I get inspired.
